By now, you all know that I love heels.  So when I came across these Kate Spade heels a few days ago, I fell in love.

I'm not usually a huge yellow fan, but this floral print is simply irresistible.  And the best part is that these can be so versatile, whether it's dressing them down for a lazy Saturday or dressing them up for a day at the office.

Beauty Talk: Combating Frizz

I have hated my hair my entire life.  I was born with red hair, which thankfully transitioned into blonde as I got older.  But one thing that I never outgrew was the thick, unruly curls that I inherited from my dad.

Brushing was a nasty chore that I didn't feel like doing half the time.  My mom's solution?  She would literally give me a bowl cut.  A bowl cut!  With my curls, my hair ended up sticking straight out the sides of my head.

So as I got older and actually started to care about my hair, I started understanding the importance of maintaining my curls.  With summer quickly approaching, I've got to get back into my routine for frizz maintenance.  If you're like me and suffer from repeat hat days from May to September, then here are some tips for you.

Slit-To-There Dresses

Rihanna. Angelina Jolie. Gwyneth Paltrow.  What do these ladies have in common?  They all showed their perfectly toned thighs in high slit dresses.  Not only do high slits up the fashion ante, but they really ooze sensuality.

But the thing to keep in mind when wearing a high slit dress is to keep the rest of your body covered, or as close to covered as you can.  For example, remember the Elie Saab gown that Lea Michele wore at the 2013 Golden Globes?  The high neck was the perfect balance for the amount of leg she was showing.

Her Style, Your Way: Alice Eve

On Friday, I went and saw Star Trek Into Darkness and fell in love with one of the actresses, Alice Eve.  Most of us know her from her roles in She's Out of My League and Sex and the City 2, but she's also known for her killer sense of style.

The Reem Acra dress and Gio Diev shoes that she wore to the Some Velvet Morning premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival are sensational.  It flatters her figure and still has sex appeal, without being too over-the-top.

To recreate her look, I found this simple yet chic Oasis dress that I paired with an amazing pair of Louboutins, an essential for any glam look.
